The object

OXO’s larger Cold Brew Coffee Maker separates overnight steeping from serving. The Rainmaker top distributes water over the grounds, and a switch releases the concentrate into a borosilicate-glass carafe when brewing is finished. OXO’s current specification lists a 40 oz capacity.

The reusable stainless steel mesh filter removes the need for a fresh primary filter at every brew. Components come apart for cleaning and nest for storage, giving this system a role in an ongoing batch routine. Dilute the concentrate to taste when serving, adjusting the amount of water or milk to the strength you prefer.
