Vero Espresso Glass, Emerald

The object

Vero reworks a traditional bar glass for specialty coffee with exaggerated outer facets, a substantial base, and an interior curve shaped for pouring. The selected Emerald version is the compact espresso size.

The thick pressed-glass body gives it a different feel from thin borosilicate tasting ware and shows the drink through saturated color. Its small format suits straight espresso and similarly short recipes rather than full filter-coffee servings.
