The object
Normcore's V4 places a leveling plate on the basket rim before the tamper base reaches the coffee, helping the press descend squarely. The selected 58.5-millimeter black version targets standard precision baskets and includes a matching stand.
Three interchangeable springs provide nominal 15-, 25-, and 30-pound resistance choices. The mechanism improves repeatability, but basket diameter still needs to be checked before ordering because this model is sold in many sizes.
