The object

Manual Atmos removes air through a pump built into the lid. Twisting creates the vacuum seal, and a release button lets you open the canister when it is time to brew. This 1.2 L matte-black configuration uses an opaque stainless steel body rather than clear glass.

Choose it when you want vacuum storage without an electric lid. Fellow advises twisting the lid every four to five days to maintain the vacuum, so it rewards a small recurring habit. The manufacturer says the 1.2 L size can hold up to a pound of light- or medium-roasted beans, with less room for a full pound of dark roast.
