Moka Express

The object

Moka Express is a straightforward way to make concentrated coffee without an electric brewing machine. Its aluminum body and recognizable octagonal shape belong to Bialetti’s original design, which dates to 1933. The brewer is offered in multiple sizes, so choose by the amount of coffee you plan to make rather than treating moka cups as full mugs.

The standard model works on gas and electric stovetops. Induction use requires Bialetti’s separate adapter plate.
