The object
AutoComb mounts over a portafilter and turns 12 arranged needles rapidly through the dose, mechanically loosening clumps before tamping. The needle depth adjusts without tools for baskets carrying up to 25 grams.
It offers a repeatable motion with less hand technique than a loose WDT rake, but its frame is designed around common 58-millimeter baskets and portafilters. The package includes roughly 38 spare needles for ongoing replacement.
