The object
AeroPress builds this Flow Control Cap from 304 stainless steel with a silicone-and-steel insert. Its valve stays closed during steeping and opens under pressing pressure, allowing brewers to adjust grind and contact time without relying on the inverted method.
The cap fits standard-size AeroPress models and accepts standard paper or metal filters, which are still required. It does not fit XL brewers, and the compact one-inch-tall body is top-rack dishwasher safe.
